History is often a study in violence. Whether used fighting in wars or hunting for food, firearms, arrows, and other martial tools are among the artifacts left by all inhabitants of the Commonwealth’s past. This program will examine how these artifacts were used in combat, to provide food and security, or convey status on their owners.
