This family friendly program features special educator-led readings of children's history books and a craft activity. Stories at the Museum programs are open to all ages. Programs take place every month on select Saturdays at 11:00 a.m.
Every Stories at the Museum program will include:
group reading of the selected history-themed picture book
a make-it-and-take-it craft activity related to the text
Each month the books will have a different theme.
January 5 – I Took a Walk
January 19 – A Sweet Smell of Roses
February 2 – Ruby Bridges
February 16 – Game, Set, Match Champion Arthur Ashe
March 2 – Elizabeth Leads the Way: Elizabeth Cady Stanton and the Right to Vote
March 16 – Jazz Age Josephine
April 6 – The Raven
April 20 – Johnny Appleseed
May 4 – How My Parents Learned to Eat
May 18 – It's Challah Time!
June 1 – And Tango Makes Three
June 15 – Nim and the War Effort
