The Fresh Paint exhibition opening will also launch the sale of a new, richly-illustrated publication, The Story of Virginia: Highlights from the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, co-authored by Jamie O. Bosket, VMHC President and CEO, and Dr. William M. S. Rasmussen, VMHC Senior Curator of Exhibitions and Lora M. Robins Curator of Art. This 200-page book, available for purchase in our museum shop, features 400+ objects that represent the highlights of the museum's collection, including rare letters, remarkable documents, fine paintings, furniture, silver, maps, prints, firearms, uniforms, photographs, and unexpected items.
Following the public exhibition opening, Fresh Paint will be open to the public daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm through Sunday, April 14, 2019. Included with museum admission. Learn more.
