Skype in the ClassroomIn 2013, the Virginia Museum of History and Culture became one of the first major content providers to deliver its full catalog anywhere in the world using Skype; allowing schools and organizations without traditional videoconferencing equipment to experience live, interactive learning, using basic internet connectivity.

The Virginia Museum of History and Culture has been selected as an international partner to join Skype in the Classroom (SITC), an initiative designed to bring a collaborative educational effort to students around the globe.
