Videoconference with a museum educator to investigate primary sources from the VMHC Collections.

HistoryConnects Distance Learning Studio HistoryConnects distance learning programs are live, interactive videoconferences centered on in-depth investigations of primary sources. Through the use of green screen technology, high definition cameras, and the amazing collections of the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, our distance learning programs offer participants a unique and dynamic experience they are sure to enjoy! We offer a variety of programming for K-12 Classrooms and Lifelong Learners.

Programming is offered to Virginia schools at a reduced rate, and we offer a limited number of free programs on two topics (the American Civil War and the Powhatan Indians). HistoryConnects programs are easy to schedule and require minimal technology. All you need is a web-enabled computer, camera, microphone, speakers, and a projector. Programs can be booked online or by email.
