Come visit our current exhibits and get a sneak peek into "Fresh Paint: Murals Inspired by the Story of Virginia,” our ground-breaking exhibition that will officially open on October 27.

Museum guests can watch some of the region’s most talented artists as they paint murals inspired by objects from our collections. Live painting begins on September 10 and occurs every weekend from September 15 through October 7, with some artists also painting throughout the week. Live painting in October coincides with artoberVA, an annual celebration of arts and culture in Richmond and the Tri-Cities area of Virginia.
