Virginia History Day Online Teacher Workshop

Several History Day webinars will be offered throughout the year. Email Virginia History Day Coordinator Sam Florer for more information. This year’s webinar dates and topics are as follows:

  • Wednesday, November 20 @ 3:30 pm: Breaking Barriers in Virginia
    This webinar will discuss this year’s National History Day theme, Breaking Barriers in History, and how it relates to Virginia centered topics with corresponding items from the museum’s collection.

  • Thursday, November 21 @ 3:30 pm: Breaking Barriers in Charlottesville
    This webinar will discuss this year’s National History Day theme, Breaking Barriers in History, and how it relates to Charlottesville, VA centered topics.

  • Wednesday, December 11 @ 3:30 pm: Breaking Barriers in Research
    This webinar will discuss the most helpful online research tools for use by teachers and students and tips for researching in-person at a library or archive.
